Commissioned by GEK TERNA, A&G executed part of the electrical installations for the office and retail areas of the redeveloped landmark.
Piraeus Tower is one of the most prominent landmarks in the Athens metropolitan area and a defining feature of the Piraeus skyline. Rising 88 metres above the port, the 22-storey building is the second tallest building in Greece and has undergone an extensive redevelopment, transforming it into a modern mixed-use destination for offices, retail and commercial spaces.
As part of the building’s redevelopment, A&G Powering Construction, commissioned by GEK TERNA, was entrusted with the execution of part of the electrical installations for the office and retail areas.
Working within an existing high-rise structure of this scale presented a demanding construction environment, requiring technical accuracy, effective coordination between multiple teams and disciplines, and the integration of modern electrical infrastructure within the building’s renewed spaces.
The redevelopment of Piraeus Tower marked the transformation of a long-standing landmark into a contemporary, high-performance building designed to meet the requirements of modern commercial and professional use.
