For individuals and families facing financial and social difficulties, access to a daily meal can make a meaningful difference. Community meal programmes provide an essential form of practical support, offering not only food but also a dependable source of care for people experiencing hardship.
Recognising the importance of these initiatives, A&G Powering Construction provided financial support in both 2021 and 2022 to the meal programmes organised by the churches of Agios Panteleimon in Trachones, Alimos, and Agios Nikolaos in Alimos. The company’s contribution aimed to support the ongoing efforts of both parishes to provide meals to people in need within the local community.
Behind every meal served is a continuous effort involving the organisation, preparation and distribution of food. Securing the necessary resources is essential to sustaining these programmes, particularly when the needs of the community remain significant. By contributing over two consecutive years, A&G sought to help these local initiatives continue their work.
This initiative reflects our belief that social responsibility is not defined solely by large-scale projects. It can also be expressed through consistent, everyday acts of care: preparing a meal, supporting a person in need and strengthening the connections that bring a community together.
