Sport creates opportunities for participation, teamwork and personal development, bringing people of different ages together through shared experiences. Recognising the role of sports clubs and events in fostering these connections, A&G Powering Construction supported the Hellenic Nautical Association of Egyptians (E.N.O.A.) in 2022, contributing to the coastal rowing competition held on 5–6 November.
Founded in Athens in 1965 by Greeks from Egypt, E.N.O.A. carries forward the sporting heritage of three historic Greek nautical clubs in Alexandria, Cairo and Port Said. With a longstanding presence in nautical sports, the Association is a founding member of several Greek sports federations and offers sailing, rowing, canoe-kayak and swimming at its facilities.
A&G’s contribution was intended to support the event and the Association’s efforts to promote coastal rowing. Competitions of this kind give athletes the opportunity to challenge themselves, share the experience of participation and develop values such as perseverance, discipline and respect.
Through this initiative, A&G supported a sports association that combines active participation in nautical sports with a rich historical legacy. Supporting such events is another way for the company to contribute to collective efforts and help create opportunities for people to engage in sport.
A&G Powering Construction contributes to the development of major infrastructure projects, undertaking complex electrical engineering and construction works across Greece and international markets.
